Go deep
I remember andrew ng telling "if you don't understand the math. that's fine." multiple times in his machine leanring and deep learning specializations on coursera. For that moment it really didn't matter. I have completed the course and moved on.
But now I realise how important is learning things in depth. Shallow knowledge will haunt you in the future.
No more repeating the mistake.
I have decided to learn reinforcement learning in depth. This subject is interesting and capable.
The process of job hunting with shallow knowledge is "desparation" in one word. You are fine with whatever you get. But things flip when you have deep knowledge. you get to choose.
